The “Healthcare Associate” at Boston Strategic Partners (BSP) is a support position that will report to various teams and the company leadership. The position requires clear, timely written & verbal communication. BSP consulting engagements could at times run in parallel; the position therefore requires the ability to support simultaneous projects with a relentless eye for accuracy. This is a high-demand full-time position. Compensation is directly tied to performance, monthly reviews, as well as experience. The Associate will be eligible to advance to a Consultant position after a minimum of one (1) year, based on performance and review.
Your Responsibilities
Liaise between BSP professionals, recruiting partners, and recruits (interviewees) for market research engagements.
Manage e-calendar scheduling, compose interview pre-read materials, correspond with recruits, and assemble honorarium payment lists.
Transcribe and summarize market research interviews, capturing medical and/or business terminology; formal training is a plus.
Assemble supporting data (e.g., from Excel) and create diagrams within PowerPoint to communicate clear, complete narratives of findings and downstream recommendations.
Assist in QA/proofreading of internal documents, client deliverables, and public-facing materials (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PDF, online surveys, email templates, hardcopy correspondence).
Conduct secondary research including competitive landscape and dynamics assessment, data aggregation, summarization, and depiction of findings in PowerPoint and Word; experience with PubMed, NIH, LexisNexis, EBSCO, SEC filings/annual reports, syndicated reports, and insurance claims strongly preferred.
Juggle “ad hoc” requests from various internal project/operations managers.

Desired Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of industry experience are required. 3+ years of experience in healthcare or allied fields preferred. Prior consulting, marketing/recruiting, project management, event planning, analyst, and remote office experience are a plus.

Be reliable, on-time, courteous, trustworthy, and professional in manner and appearance.
Candidate must possess background experience or demonstrate an ability to work well in a non-co-located environment (i.e., you will primarily be working from home with team members located in different cities) and travel as necessary to client sites (<10% of the time).
Demonstrate proficiency in English, including good grammar.
Have access to both telecom/voice and internet/data connectivity and have Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Respond to emails and calls within 3 hours during the standard workday.
Candidate shall be available to stagger work hours, on occasion work on evenings and weekends.
Ability to communicate in foreign languages at the business level is a plus.
Must sign non-compete and non-disclosure agreements as part of this work contract.
