(Yokohama, Japan, September 27, 2016): Boston Strategic Partners Inc. authored poster “Acute pain and related outcomes in surgical patients: retrospective analysis of a large US electronic health record database” presented at the IASP 16th World Congress on Pain in Yokohama, Japan.
The objective of the study was to examine the prevalence, progression, and potential impacts of postsurgical pain in a large sample of US surgical patients. The analysis identified important potential associations between pain outcomes and LOS and pain severity in the pre-surgical and immediate postsurgical periods.
The International Association for the Study of Pain’s (IASP’s) 16th World Congress on Pain is taking place in Yokohama, Japan from September 26 – 30, 2016. The World Congress on Pain is the premiere conference devoted to pain research and treatment, bringing together the world’s top researchers and clinicians.
