Laxmi is an Advisor with BSP whose engagements have focused primarily on firms Health Economics practice areas. Her recent projects with BSP include:

Health Economics:

  • Supported in designing and implementing real world data analysis across PTSD and Fibroids using Cerner Health Facts Dataset (EHR)
  • Leveraged Cerner Health Facts Dataset(EHR) to identify population characteristics ,surgical procedures and medications, complications in different disease areas
  • Drafted abstracts and posters for the publication and presentation at international meeting across multiple therapeutic areas

Business and Clinical Strategy:

  • Supported in assessing the reimbursement strategies, by conducting in depth secondary research to provide key insights on IV first approach medications for anti-arrhythmic patients for a leading pharmaceutical company
  • Supported in evaluating market segmentation and opportunity, to inform the development and launch strategies for the nerve toxins antidote market for a leading pharmaceutical company

Laxmi holds a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU university and a Masters Degree in Pharmacoeconomics and Policy from MCPHS University. Before moving to the US, Laxmi was a Deputy Manager for an Indian multinational bank focused on finance and health insurance services. Prior Joining in BSP, she worked at MCPHS University as a graduate assistant where she conducted systematic literature reviews in CNS diseases and drafted abstracts and posters. She also worked with a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge, MA, US, as a graduate fellow supporting targeted literature reviews in Postpartum Depression (PPD). In her spare time, she likes playing badminton and loves traveling.
